2. Scope — web, App Store & Google Play

This policy covers personal data processed when you use:

• dhurandhar.com and related web / PWA experiences;
• the Dhurandhar iOS application available on the Apple App Store;
• the Dhurandhar Android application available on Google Play;
• paper trading, charts, alerts, learning tools and customer support channels linked to those products.

By installing or using our mobile apps, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Store listings on Apple and Google will link to this URL: /legal/privacy.

3. Data we collect

3.1 Account & identity

• Name, email address, phone number;
• KYC / identity documents (e.g. passport or Emirates ID) when verification is enabled via regulated partners;
• Authentication data (hashed passwords, OAuth tokens, OTP status).

3.2 Mobile app & device data (App Store / Play)

• Device type, OS version, app version, language and time zone;
• Device identifiers used for security, fraud prevention and push delivery (e.g. IDFV / Android advertising ID only where permitted and with consent where required);
• Push notification tokens (Apple Push Notification service / Firebase Cloud Messaging);
• Crash logs and performance diagnostics (to keep App Store and Play builds stable);
• Optional biometrics (Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint) — processed on-device by the OS; we do not receive your biometric template.

3.3 Trading & usage

• Watchlists, paper-trading activity, order tickets and preferences;
• In-app pages viewed, feature usage and approximate session times;
• Support tickets and chat transcripts you send to us.

3.4 Payments & store billing

If you purchase subscriptions or digital features through the Apple App Store or Google Play, payment is processed by Apple or Google. We receive limited purchase receipts / entitlement status (e.g. product ID, expiry) — not your full card number. Funding of live brokerage accounts (if offered) is handled by regulated payment / brokerage partners under their own policies.

4. How we use data

• Create and secure your account across web and mobile;
• Provide charts, paper trading, alerts and support;
• Send service notices and (with consent) marketing emails / push;
• Detect abuse, secure sessions and improve app reliability;
• Comply with law and respond to lawful requests;
• Meet Apple App Store and Google Play developer programme requirements (including privacy nutrition labels / Data safety disclosures).

5. Permissions (iOS & Android)

Our apps may request OS permissions. You can revoke them in device Settings. Typical uses:

• Notifications — price alerts, order / fill notices and security alerts;
• Camera / photos — optional KYC document capture or profile image;
• Biometrics — unlock the app faster (on-device);
• Network — load market data and sync accounts;
• We do not require continuous background location for core trading features. If location is ever used (e.g. regional compliance), we will request it separately and disclose it in store listings.

6. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Cloud hosting, analytics and crash reporting providers under contract;
• KYC / identity and brokerage partners when you enable live trading;
• Apple and Google as needed to deliver apps, process in-app purchases and operate push messaging;
• Authorities when legally required.

Charting embeds (e.g. TradingView) and similar widgets may process technical data under their own privacy policies when you interact with them.

7. International transfers

We are based in Dubai, UAE (DIFC). Data may be processed in the UAE and other countries where our service providers operate. We use appropriate contractual and technical safeguards for cross-border transfers.

8. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, dispute resolution and legal retention. Crash and analytics logs are typically retained for shorter operational windows. Store purchase records follow Apple / Google retention practices for receipts we receive.

9. Your rights & account deletion

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data. For App Store and Google Play compliance we provide an account deletion path:

• In-app: Profile / Settings → Delete account (when released); or
• Email [email protected] with subject “Account deletion request” from your registered email.

Uninstalling the iOS or Android app does not automatically delete your server account — use the deletion request above.

10. Children

Dhurandhar is not directed to children under 18 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to delete it. Our App Store and Play listings will reflect the appropriate age rating.

11. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, optional 2FA and secure session practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Never share OTPs, passwords or API keys.

12. Cookies & similar technologies

On the web we use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Mobile apps use local storage / SDK identifiers rather than browser cookies for similar purposes (session, preferences, analytics).

13. Apple App Store & Google Play disclosures

We maintain Apple App Privacy (“nutrition label”) and Google Play Data safety disclosures to match this policy. Categories typically include: Contact Info, Identifiers, Usage Data, Diagnostics, and optionally Financial Info / User Content when KYC or live trading is enabled. If our practices change, we update both this policy and the store disclosures.

14. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change, and material updates may be notified in-app, by email, or via App Store / Play release notes.
